The growth of the outsourcing sector over recent years has been significant. However, not all services are outsourced, and there are a number of high profile cases where external provision has been returned in-house. Clearly, 'one size does not fit all' and a broad range of factors need to be taken into consideration in choosing the most appropriate option, or options if a combination of delivery types is selected, this has also been hindered somewhat with the move towards home working and organisations finding that they have additional space.
