In series with one winding, there exist an additional condenser. Assume the frequency of supply to be 50 Hz, 220 V, and 250 Watt. Knowing that the permanent capacitance value is considered 50 uf. Do as required for the followings: 1. Draw the phasor diagrams before and after adding capacitance? 2. Determine the auxiliary capacitance to provide maximum starting torque. 3. Plot the exact electrical equivalent circuit before and after capacitor insertion? 4. Draw the complete torque/speed characteristic specifically for the motor mentioned above?
