This problem set compares differentchildren'stelevision shows:Peppa Pig, The Wiggles,andFireman Sam.

The two variables are:

show: which of the three shows that episode was from

words: the total number of words spoken in that episodelength: the total length of that episode in seconds

One of the key issues you will be investigating is which show is most linguistically complex. There are many ways to measure linguistic complexity, but one very simple measure is simply the total number of words spoken per episode.
