The MUDFA Contract resulted in significant scope creep. The contribution of the political stakeholder (SNP) once again resulted in a full change in scope. The building of the new Gogar station facilitated a redesign of the tram track arrangement and the inclusion of an extra tram stop. The incorporation of this novel design and tram station undoubtedly played a significant role in the project exceeding both its budgetary and temporal constraints. The additional works and delays were caused by a poor risk assessment that failed to anticipate or thoroughly investigate the insufficient drawings and the historical significance of the proposed routes.COMPRESS THE ABOVE
