Furthermore, Smith and Tushman (2019) examined the relationship between innovation and financial performance in a sample of large companies. Their findings revealed a significant positive correlation between innovation efforts, measured by research and development investments, and financial performance indicators such as return on assets and sales growth. Moreover, (Shalley et al., 2017) explored the link between individual-level creativity and organizational performance, revealing a positive association between employees' creative contributions and organizational effectiveness. Their research highlighted the role of intrinsic motivation, domain expertise, and a supportive work environment in stimulating creativity. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of both personal and contextual factors contributing to creativity. However, a potential limitation is that it relies heavily on self-report measures which may introduce response bias. Second, organizational leaders who encourage and support employees' creative endeavors create an environment conducive to experimentation, risk-taking, and learning. One of the primary ways that an individual level of creativity can be promoted is through a practice known as job crafting (Wrzesniewski & Dutton, 2001). Job crafting involves employees altering their job duties, tasks, and activities in response to changes in the job environment. For instance, Sirmon et al. Additionally, work-group creativity can be enhanced through team incentives and recognition (Gibson and Holman, 2003).
