You realise that the salaries of your entire organisation are now dependent on you. Not knowing where to start or how to approach this task, you decide on the follow the DMAIC process combined with TOC and Lean:

A. Define

2. Measure KPIs

C. Analyze

3. Use the TOC theory to identify the constraint.

4. Use an appropriate root cause analysis technique to determine the origin of the problem

D. Improve

5. Brainstorm solutions

6. Follow the first 4 TOC steps

7. Use Lean and any other improvement principles to improve the process further

E. Control

8. Monitor if the improvement plan is achieving the desired outcome
