The population for this qualitative exploratory case study will consist of all nursing home employees currently employed in the selected facility. The sample, which is a subset of the target population, will consist of the nursing home administrators, the director of nursing, human resource officer,chief finance officer (CFO), payroll officer, and frontline workers (Nurses and CNAs) that are currently employed within the selected nursing home in the northeast region of the U.S. Purposeful sampling will be used to recruit potential participants for the study. The sample size will consist of three healthcare leaders (nursing home administrators, director of nursing and human resource officer), two finance officers (chief finance officer (CFO) and payroll officer) and seven nurses (RNs and LPNs) and eight CNAs who work in the selected nursing home facility.
