The sample characteristics of this research study include varying sample sizes, reflective of the sample from the primary research study completed by Dr. Auerbach as a result of NA responses. While the completed surveys indicated a higher rate of response (n = 89), the unique indicators utilized for this study varied due to NA responses (n = 59 to n = 57). The sample is inclusive of research participants from the direct population of interest, MSW students at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. The majority of the sample was female (n = 65, 74.7%). The second most commonly ascribed gender was male (n = 20, 23%). Trans gendered and non- gendered students each represented 1.1% of the research sample. The mean age of research participants was 31.69 years old, and the range of ages varied from 20 to 73.
