Determine the shear modulus if a torque of 7.56 Nm is shown to generate a rotation of one end of the rod relative to the other , assuming that the response is linear elastic. also determine the maximum shear strain experinced.   Hint: you will need to look up the equation for linear elastic torsion of a rod !

If it is determine by tensile testing of the same material the young modulus is 2.6Gpa, estimate the poisson ratio.
