The statement in the pic discussed 9 year old Payton Summons,
who officially died on October 19, 2018. The statement discuss the ethical

From the article we can understand that it is a controversial situation to make a decision over the life of a 9-year-old, Payton Summons for both the patient's family and physician at the hospital. If we look at this case from her patient's point of view, we can say that they are trying every possible way to keep their 9-year-old alive. Like her mother Tiffany Hofstetter, said: "Her heart rate was still great, her organs were functioning. She's still alive. Give her a chance." Even though the doctors have said that she had brain-dead, her mother sees her child is still alive. But when we look at this from the physician's point of view the only thing that keeping this child alive is the ventilator. The goal of end-of-life care for dying patients is to prevent or relieve suffering as much as possible while respecting the patients' desires. From an ethical perspective, the patient rather than the family, proxy or physician makes decisions best about limiting treatment or treatments that do not provide cures but prolong life for a while. But in this case I do not agree with the Texas law because it's the patient's right to decide. In many states, doctors are explicitly forbidden from withdrawing life-sustaining treatment without agreement from the patient or patients' legal surrogates. But from the physicians point of view there is nothing more than they can do to bring the child back to life. At certain point patient's there is nothing more than they can do to bring the child back to life. At certain point patient's family has to agree with the doctors to withdraw some forms of life-sustaining treatments against the family's wishes
