However, in real-world statistics, the enormity of data sets make hand calculations extremely time-consuming and tedious. For this reason, real-world statisticians rely on software or technology for their analyses. Throughout the textbook and assignments, several technology options are expounded upon, including Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and graphing calculators such as the TI-84.
