The topic may include firm (project) valuation, debt policy, equity issuance, financial analysis, M&A, and corporate governance. You are expected to implement a coherent and logical analysis based on real data from real firms. A typical flow of the report will go as follows: Motivation (e.g., why the firm or the project? Why is the case interesting or important), theoretical framework (based on what you have learnt from this course), analysis (models, regressions, comparison of data among different firms, etc...) and finally conclusion. There will be no limit on the of pages or words, but make sure you present your idea clearly.
