The typical challenges that occur as a team develops are a lack of trust, unclear goals, and different capabilities. One of the situations that I have encountered when working with a team is different capabilities because we are all capable of different things. Other team members and I reacted to those situations by, listening, displaying empathy, being a role model, and practicing fairness. I think those reactions were appropriate because we must remember that listening, showing empathy, and being a role model will allow people to do their job to the best of their ability and do it effectively. If my supervisor asked me what it means to strengthen a team, my answer would be to get to know the others better, build diverse teams, define roles and responsibilities for every team member, build trust with my team, manage team meetings wisely, and establish expectations from day one. Having a strong team will show positive morale and opportunities to collaborate and enjoy working together. My team at work has grown tremendously, and I couldn't be happier to be a part of it?
