There are three parts to this essay:

1. Reflection

Using the tools you were introduced to in this course, reflect on your own communication workplace experiences, for instance, verbal communication, listening skills, non-verbal communication. Can you verify your ability to engage in contextually appropriate communication? Share at least two examples of personal interactions in the workplace that supports your need for improvement.

2. Strategies

Outline at least two strategies that you intend on utilizing to address the issues that you mentioned in part 1 of this essay. For instance, communication models or behaviors that can help you to be more effective.

3. Action Plan

Create an action plan of key events and activities that you will enact over the next 6 months to acquire the knowledge, skills, and behaviors to improve your weak areas, for instance, enroll in short courses to develop skills, a reading plan to increase knowledge, starting a journal that will enable for reflection on communication patterns etc.
