  • Purported Russian hacks during the election and material leaking to "Wikileaks."
  • Recent purported hacks of the CIA and materialleaking to "Wikileaks." Does the motivation matter?
  • Purported leaks from the State Department or from inside the White House during the current administration. Does it make a difference if the leaks are exposing some sort of corruption or in case of WH leaks are friends of the President and leak in an effort to help him?
  • University of North Carolina cheating scandal: An academic counselor, Mary Willingham, was a whistleblower who in spite of great pressure from administrators at the school and the loss of her job, confirmed and helped expose one of the largest academic cheating scandal.
