There is a very wide array of different cyberspace models. Many share similar functions, some entirely different and unique from others. One of my favorite models has to be the MITRE ATT&CK Model. This model is a framework and set of rules, guidelines and assessments. It is intended for companies and organizations to use to assess their security, and help to discover any weaknesses that need to be corrected. In the name of the model, "ATT&CK", stands for: adversarial tactics, techniques, and common knowledge. It consists of a list of different tactics that are commonly used in cyberattacks and has a long list of techniques of how to combat against these tactics. The MITRE model is an amazing resource for companies, large and small, to deploy to stop future cyberthreats from ever occurring, as they will be able to assess and improve on their levels of security by following the guidelines provided. This is something that is very interesting to me, and i believe that every company should analyze their cyber security intelligence levels with the MITRE model.
