What effect could the publicity surrounding the discrimination claim have on the company's business operations or future contract negotiations with the employee's union?

A)Unfortunately, we live in a world where negative publicity whether it is the truth or not, can permanently impact a business. Our generation is full of "cancel culture" rather than finding out the full truth of situations. I do believe the company should be held liable if it turns out through investigation/litigation that there was true discrimination involved. There is so many factors that could've added to the company's delay, it is not fair to judge off that without an investigation/more questioning on why the delay has really occurred. If other company's feed into the publicity surrounding the case rather than the facts, then unfortunately the likely possibility is that there will be a negative impact on future business operations, contract negotiations, and overall relationship within the employee's union.

B) What effect could the publicity surrounding the discrimination claim have on the company's business operations or future contract negotiations with the employee's union?

There are several ways in which the publicity surrounding the discrimination claim can affect the business's operations and future contract negotiations with the employee union. It can result in a lack of trust between the company, its employees and the employee union. The lack of confidence will lead to low loyalty between Employees and the employee union, resulting in low performance and high turnover. It will also make it difficult to strike a bargain between the employee and the employee's union due to the organization's low public image and credibility.
