Things go wrong, especially with visual aids.  Propose a Plan B of how you can proceed with a speech when the Plan A scenarios below fail.

• You made color flip charts for a F2F speech.  You arrive by car at campus in time to be in the classroom.  Class starts in 15 minutes.  You realize you left the flip charts at home.  Home is 35 minutes away by car.  Describe what you can do in the 15 minutes available.
• You made a nice PowerPoint or Prezi digital slide show.  In class, the lightbulb burns out for the projector. Describe what else you can do in this scenario.
• You are 5 minutes from beginning your online speech in Collaborate Ultra.  You can't open the link for your Prezi or you can't find the PowerPoint file you want to use.  Describe what you can do instead.
