Third sector organizations are often a reality check for the performance of private and public sector organizations
Question:
“Third sector organizations are often a reality check for the performance of private and public sector organizations toward the public well-being.”
Drawing on the relevant literature and focusing on different contrasting parameters such as accountability and service coverage, critically discuss the above statement.
(You can argue either in favour or against the statement. The discussion should contrast the performance of third sector organizations with that of the organizations from other sectors in terms of relevant criteria such as accountability and service coverage).
Please explain this first:
I thought 3rd sector organisations just attend issues regarding to those that are disadvantaged in society. However this question asks us to reflect on the social and private sectors as well? Is there any relationships between the 3rd sector organisations and private/public sectors? Also, how does the services coverage different in 3rd sector organisations compared to that of private and public sectors?
