The project scenario is summarized here for ease of access: you work as a manager at the Niagara Falls location of Great Wolf Lodge, a Water Park and Resort company with over locations across North America. The company has been struggling with high levels of employee turnover and you are writing a Proposal to suggest a new retention policy that will help save Great Wolf Lodge from continuously needing to recruit and train new employees. The full scenario is located below.
Your Proposal will contain formal elements, such as a title page, table of contents, etc. The formatting of the body will also be slightly different from our previous Report.

WHAT ARE THE ASSIGNMENT DETAILS?
This Proposal is treated as an internal document you are writing it to the Chief Executive Officer of Great Wolf Lodge. However, we are formalizing this Proposal because it will likely end up in the hands of others within the company.
The provided Proposal template will show you how to format and organize the content, as well as how to construct the items in the front and the back of the report. Each sections content is explained within the template.
Treat this proposal as unsolicited as the CEO did not ask for it However, you can assume that they would be open to receiving this Proposal from you as it is meant to reduce operating expenses and help improve employee retention long term.
Since you work well with the reader of the Proposal and their reaction to your idea should be positive, you can use first and second person Iyou and we throughout the report.
Major headings and subheadings will be used, as seen on the template.
The Proposal itself will be approximately pages not counting the front or back matter those are additional pages and the proposal pages will be numbered.
Research is not required unless you choose to include it to help explain something. If research is included, it must be documented correctly with intext citations and a References page. If you include research, I will count that towards the content mark.
There will be one required visual, in the form of a Table, contained within the Proposal this is noted on the template. A second visual is a possibility, which is also mentioned on the template.

Great Wolf Lodge is the largest chain of indoor water park resorts in North America. It was founded in and expanded to a Niagara Falls location in where it remains a highly popular tourist attraction that draws people to the area. Overall, the company has over locations and more than employees
Assume that you work as a manager of the Niagara Falls branch. You have worked in this role since September and your responsibilities include recruiting, staff management and satisfaction, scheduling, and training, among other things. You are hoping to move up higher in the corporation when opportunities to advance to an executive role are available.
Great Wolf Lodge benefits from an excellent reputation as a vacation destination for families, and its popularity along with the size of its facilities mean that hundreds of employees are required in various roles at each of its locations. However, the industry is competitive and there are many opportunities for lower skilled workers to change employers. Among the higher skilled workers, turnover is even more common as they often find advancement openings both within and outside the hospitality industry. As a result, Great Wolf Lodge continuously spends a significant amount of money recruiting and training newly hired employees.
You know, from working in your position, that this impacts the overall revenue brought in by the company, as well as the time you need to spend dealing with the issue. You also know that maximizing the revenue is an important goal, especially given the financial losses that have occurred over the past few years during various shutdowns and limitations brought on by the COVID pandemic.
You recognize this as a professional opportunity: what if you were to formally propose one new employee retention idea to your boss, the Chief Executive Officer, that, if successful, could help slow down the cycle of employee turnover and reduce the costs associated with recruiting, hiring, and training new workers?
