As you learned in Chapter $11,$ there are multiple types of proposals, but all of them are argumentative. For a proposal to be effective, it must persuade the receiver to do what you want. In the case of our specific Proposal Download Proposalproject, you will be persuading the UCF Office of Undergraduate Research to give you a "Student Research Grant."

Through this activity, you will consider the following:

Persuasion: How does the document $($at the level of language, design, etc.$)$ work to PERSUADE the evaluators to fund the proposal?
