This assignment is about normalizing failure, which is important for two reasons:

Learning from failure is a critical entrepreneurial skill

The next set of exercises you'll be doing will very likely, for beneficial reasons, result in failure.

The more genuine and vulnerable you can be to normalizing failure, the better you be able to take advantage of failures that will arise during, and after, this course.

If you want to find or create a job you like that pays well, one of the most impactful things you can do is change your relationship to failure.

Failure is uncomfortable for all of us, but the difference between being an average and an achieving person is how you take advantage of failures, when they arise. The first step towards success is to see how valuable your failures have been.

To do that, you are going to create a resume, but not a typical resume where you document all of your successful accomplishments. This is going to be a failure resume.

Using the attached template as inspiration, you should try to come up with at least the three biggest failures you have experienced, thus far in your life:

You dont need to come up with failures in each category, you just need to try to come up with three failures in total.

Looking over your failures, you should identify the one that you learned from the most, in other words, the one that would change your behavior, the most. With that failure in mind, fill in the bottom half of the failure resume, answering the questions:

1. My Biggest Failure Taught Me...

2. And changed my behavior By.
