This assignment is asking you to create a theory about the connections between leadership style, personality and intrinsic life goals. A theory is a hypothesis or an assumption usually based on secondary research that includes the interplay between independent and dependent variables. An independent variable experiences no changes in regard to the dependent variable; however, a dependent variable is affected by changes in the independent variable.

The rubric is asking you to do three things: Reflect (demonstrate personal understanding / knowledge generation), Analyze (explain how you will test the hypothesis) and Connect (explain how the three concepts are connected). The rubric is also preparing you to think about a future personal leadership vision, so consider that too.

Based on personality test

1. What more have you discovered about your personality? Based on this, identify what is important to you, excites you, and motivates you? What are your goals and fundamental objectives in life? Think about the connection between your personality, your personal leadership style and your life goals. Create a theory about the connection between these and how you might test it.
