This assignment is Chi-square. I know that I have to have two categorical values (obesity and history of diabetes). In my SPSS dataset, there is no variable for obesity. There are BMI and weight variables, but those have numerical values and are not categorical. How would I proceed to run my chi-square test if I don't have two categorical values? Also, I used G*power to determine the sample size and I chose x2 from test family and goodness of fit.. was that the correct choice or is it generic?

Compose an APA-style student paper answering the following research question: e ls there a relationship between obesity and a history of diabetes? In your explanation, you must include the following: e Determine the adequate sample size needed to prevent creating a type Il error for this assignment (use G*Power and include printout). e Select a random sample from the stroke dataset to run your analyses. Save your new dataset, rename it, and submit the .sav file with your assignment. e Run the appropriate statistical analysis on your random sample. e Include printouts from SPSS to depict your results. e Describe each printout/result in terms that an individual who does not know statistics would understand. e Write your findings in APA format as if you were including them in a journal article (Statistical abbreviations for this are in your APA manual 6th ed Table 4.5 pg. 119-123 or 7th ed Table 6.5 pg. 183-186) **Do not use direct quotes.
