This assignment will help you begin your resume, since your personal profile statement will go at the top. Read the articles linked below and create your own personal profile statement for your resume "(Package Handler at FedEx)". The old way of starting a resume was with a boring objective that says you are looking for a job in your field. Who doesn't want that??? And besides...it's not about you. It's all about what you can provide to the employer. Think of yourself as a product that you are trying to sell, and brand yourself well! If you want to, you can use this on your LinkedIn profile, which is another assignment in this module.

NOTE: This only needs to be a few sentences long. This is not an introduction or an elevator pitch, something you would say when meeting someone new. Don't start with "I" and don't start with, "Hi, my name is..." Think of it as a catchy advertisement for the product "You." Scroll down for examples.

Your instructor will grade this for editing (grammar, punctuation, and spelling) but part of the grading will be subjective. In other words, did you sell the product? Did you sell "you"?
