opportunity to work as a coveted internship at a prominent marketing company for the summer. I
was very excited for this chance to work in a prominent marketing company at a very young age
compared to my co-workers who are in their 30 s. I was very intrigued about gaining real - world
experience in the marketing field before graduating which will help me in my career and this
motivated me to quickly become an integral part of the team, and working closely with
colleagues on various projects. There was another intern around my age in the same team and we
became friends while working. It was a typical workday for me, I was working and my friend
(coworker) came dashing up to me. He was angry and told me our manager summoned him to
his office and dismissed him. My friend was in tears and unhappy. I went to the manager's office
to find out what happened. The manager informed me that my colleague had misbehaved with
the clients and used unacceptable language with them. He also informed me that he warned my
colleague multiple times but did not listen. My manager then requested me to handle the problem
and directed me to speak with my friend. I marched to him and attempted to chat to him, but he
didn't respond. He was still unhappy and didn't say anything. I then decided to speak with the
manager again and requested if he might issue a written warning to my friend. The moral
dilemma I faced was whose side should I take It was between my friend and the workplace it's
