This course (CIN-310 A+ Computer Practical Applications) is an in-depth exposure to computer software, mobile devices, security, and troubleshooting. Students learn the functionality of operating system software as well as suggested best practices in maintenance, and security. Through hands on activities and labs, students learn how to install, upgrade and maintain an operating system. Students will review the objectives covered on the CompTIA A+ certification exam. Students will be prepared to attempt the CompTIA A+ Practical Applications exam.

• Identify the steps necessary to assemble components based on customer requirements.

• Discuss the procedure for installing, configuring and maintaining devices, PCs and software for end users.

• Explain the basics of networking and security/forensics.

• Utilize procedures to properly and safely diagnose, resolve and document
