This final project allows you to consolidate the learning that took place throughout this course along with your own knowledge and understanding regarding the history of the Indigenous peoples of what we now call Canada.

Referring to the outline that you submitted in Week $11,$ you will connect your learning to the $$Big Idea$/$Topic$$ that you proposed.

You will state the purpose of your choice. $($Why does the topic resonate with you? What do you want to know more about? How does this impact you as a learner at Northern college?$)$

Your $$Big Idea$/$Topic$$ must focus on how you will move forward towards reconciliation and what steps you plan to take to be successful with this journey.

Throughout the assignments, you will focus on areas that you were not familiar with in the past, information that may have shaped your present$-$day beliefs and where you might turn to in order to expand your knowledge and understanding.

You will also want to highlight any key initiatives that you can participate in to support your learning and understanding and any obstacles that you may face throughout.
