You specialize in data storage and protection, but you provide a host of additional services related to the technology sector. Youre a small startup, and you only have seven employees, but the business is already registered and operating. Your questions to your lawyer will address the running of the business from a legal standpoint. In order to prepare for the meeting, you want to create a short plan. The plan needs to cover the relevant sections of law that youll discuss with your lawyerin other words, aspects of contract, property and employment law, along with anything else that may have an impact on the business, such as the companys position in the tech sector. Write down a few words on what you already know about each area so that your lawyer has something to work with. Be sure to ask questions that touch on all areas of the law that are likely to have an impact on your business and to include examples where appropriate. Prepare a comprehensive plan for your meeting that covers at least five different legal topics of concern to your business and provide information on them, including at least three examples.
