Each student, in their own words, must compose a 750 to 1000 word essay on their chosen topic. The essay must have an introduction and a conclusion. The essay must be 12pt Times New Roman Font, double- spaced. The Essay must contain information from all three sources provided in part one. The essay should provide a detailed (ORIGINAL) description of the historical event and its significance. The Essay must contain Chicago Style Footnote Citations in the body of the essay. No other format will be accepted. Failure to provide proper citations in the Essay will result in an immediate -10 point penalty. It is vital for each student to cite every source they use in the composition of the paper. Failure to properly cite a source used is a violation of academic honesty policy and counts as plagiarism.
