14. What does Georgiana learn while in Alymer's lab and in his book?
While in the laboratory, Georgiana learns about the view and content of Aylmer's laboratory, and was amazed by what she saw. She also saw a flower that quickly died after she touched it and learns that Aylmer has been giving her food that was embedded with unusual ingredients and she also realizes that she was inhaling something in the air. When Georgiana read Aylmer's book, she discovered that her husband did all kinds of scientific experiments in the past which was recorded in that book. Thus, her admiration for her husband in terms of his intelligence and goals increased.
