This is an exercise to see if I comprehend each statistical procedure that was studied. I wanted to use the paired t-test to compare before and after scores, but we did not study the paired t-test. I need to change the question to fit a different statistical test.
What type of research can I use to solve this problem? Does instructional design and technology change the behavior of early childhood students of drug-addicted mothers?
We have studied Independent Samples T-Test, One-Sample T-Test, Chi-Square, ANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and Bivariate Regression.
The research question can be divided into female and male, 'yes' and 'no' or multiple before and after scores. We have not studied paired t-tests. Please give an example of a research question and a null hypothesis so that my wording will be correct.
Research Question:Does instructional design and technology change the behavior of early childhood students of drug-addicted mothers?
Null Hypothesis:Instructional design and technology have no statistical impact on the behavior of the population of early childhood drug-addicted students
Independent variable:Instructional design and technology interventions
Dependent variable: 'Yes' or 'No' (Female or male) (before and after scores)
Instrument (Scale): Edmond's Nonclinical Early Childhood Behavior Measurement Test
Participants: Four selected toddlers in Hayes Enrichment School as identified by the Individuals with Disabilities Education and Improvement Act of 2004.
