1. What is your perspective on the use of tech-enabled collection of performance data? Technology has indeed contributed a great impact to the corporate world. It made a lot of work easier which can provide a more productive and profitable organization. However, in my own perspective, there are advantages and disadvantages when using a system to collect data in relation to employees' performance. I once experienced being in a company that uses technology to calculate the performance of their employees as basis for promotion and incentives. One great advantage is that employees became more focus and persistent to finish their job as the system can monitor their turn-around-time. Hence, customers preferred to buy their service as they can guarantee a 24 hours processing. However, the disadvantages are employees tend to work even after office hours (without over-time pay) to meet the TAT and some task are being compromised.
