This is my work my writing needs feed back

revision and organization and sound convincing and professional

The reason I am sending this email is to let you know my feelings about the meeting that took place in Corcoran Park with the community. As a resident of Corcoran Park since 2018 and the wife of an Army veteran, I am disappointed in how CHA housing has so little empathy for people. I have some points of contention about these.

1. The interpreters did not use their equipment to translate the material, they spoke to the person in the ear, which I found unethical since they are professionals and should always use their equipment, which is why they pay and have their licenses.

2. They offered only two languages to translate when the Corcoran Park District Manager has information on how many languages are spoken in Corcoran Park and how many communities we are in.

3. They distributed a paper where the residents had to put how many cars they had, it was irrelevant information since many of the residents did not know what to write because they do not speak English, but Manager Malvina had the information of each tenant and how many vehicles each one has, since by law we have to use the Resident Sticker where they have the tenant's license with the license plate of the vehicle on record,

4. Little communication and transparency with the tenants, plus the excuses they gave at the meeting, were very inappropriate since there are ways to communicate with people by email or by their cell phone number, information that the Corcoran Park management office has, and that approach was never given by them.

5. The comment that an employee said about neighbors was inappropriate, I think that in a community where there is so much trauma and division for various reasons, it does not help to add negative comments that do not contribute anything to the situation, on the contrary, it increases the mistrust between people.

6. My husband has PTSD, some tenants fled their country because of abusive and corrupt governments, and others because of war or gangs. Imagine that scenario, people with so many traumas, another community that we have is some drug addicted imagine all those sharing their laundry. Imagine fear or physical fights because someone lost their personal belongings, or something happened.

There are reasonable accommodations for different reasons filed in the office of the Manager of Corcoran Park by law you need to follow them and not ignore them, before bringing projects in for approval they need to follow the communication protocols more than they are equitable with the understanding of all so that the community can make decisions. It seems that your words are not in concord with your actions. Ignoring their needs is a violation of human rights.

Right now there have been problems because of the parking lot where the tenants have insulted each other about the parking but when it snows you have no idea of everything we have to do when it snows so that they do not fight over the parking Imagine in your mind the scenario of not having parking with double or triple the number of people there are now, imagine the verbal or physical violence that this stress will cause in these people including my husband

I can understand how my husband was active in the Army for 10 years that they want to find a way to build more apartments to have fewer people living on the street to be able to provide them with a safe night, a roof over their heads, I personally and my husband are supports towards that ideal, but people's safety is never, ever put at risk. Cambridge is a city known as a safe and family-friendly environment, that plan to take away people's privacy is one that can have serious consequences for the city. And I have every right to worry that those 10 hands that my husband spent in the Army as 82airborne were not in vain and poorly organized ideas cannot be allowed to destroy the peace of the citizens of Cambridge, a place that we chose to stay because it is one of the safest places in the United States. For this reason I ask you to put the needs of the people first but above all the security of our nation because money will never be more important than life.
