Phase 3-Course Project SLO 2 Use appropriate data and analytical methods to improve decision-making throughout an organization's value chain. Specific knowledge to be Assessed. Identify, diagnose and address the missing values. If the dataset has no missing values, this row will not affect the grade. Identify, diagnose and address the outliers and noise Not Possessing Score 0 No report on missing values is given. No report on outliers and noise is given. Initial/ Beginning Score 1-3 The report includes the detection of some of the missing values, but not all of them. The missing values are not diagnosed, nor there is a discussion on how they should be addressed. Emerging/Developing Score 4-6 One or two of the following is improved from the previous scale: 1- All of the missing 2- values are detected. An attempt to diagnose the missing values is presented. 3- An attempted discussion on how they should be improved is included. One of the following is improved from the previous scale: The report includes the detection of some of the outliers, but not all of them. There is no attempt in discovering bivariate outliers. There is no effort in trying to figure out if the outliers 2- are noise. There is no discussion on how the outliers should be addressed. 1- All of the outliers including bivariate ones. An attempt to distinguish between outliers and noise 3- An attempted discussion on how the outliers should be addressed. Developed/ Accomplished Score 7-9 All of the missing values are detected, there is a correct diagnosis of the missing values and a correct discussion of how the missing values should be addressed, but the report is not well integrated. All of the outliers are detected, there is a correct distinction between outliers and noise, and a well- developed and correct discussion of how the outliers should be addressed, but the report is not well integrated. Highly Developed/ Accomplished Score 10 A well-integrated report of missing values detection, diagnosis, and steps to address them A well-integrated report of outliers and noise, and discussion of the steps and strategies to address them.
