This project will be used as a foundational piece to your research paper. First pick one of the main perspectives (Modern, Symbolic-Interpretivist, Post-Modern) that we are using to explore OT. Next, observe one organization of your choice and explain how your ontological and epistemological assumptions influence your view of the organization. Some thoughts to help you get going:

1. What are the ontological and epistemological assumptions associated with the specific perspective that you chose?
2. Can you identify a specific organizational decision or even a business model, that assumes one of the three perspectives? What would possible consequences be for stakeholders (either internal organizational leaders or members, or external partners, consumers, the environment, etc.) if the organization was managed from a different perspective?

The deliverable will be a visual presentation (Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, etc.) of between 5-10 slides including a cover slide and references. This will not be presented in class, but uploaded here to Canvas. This is your opportunity to be creative and demonstrate your mastery of what has been covered through the first half of the semester. Students have the option of creating a midterm paper of 5 pages in length (not including title page or references) in lieu of the visual presentation.
