After a lot of thinking and consultation with some of his colleagues who participated in the sustainable energy master program he reached to the conclusion that the best three criteria to use for selecting such a system are: Sustainability; Reliability (R) and Cost. On scale from 1 to 10 they obtained the scores in the matrix below for each system. Assume the weights for S, R and cost are 0.5, 0.3 and 0.2 respectively.
