This Research Log assignment is aims to record your research process as you conduct research and find academic sources to answer question that Trevor Noah raises (i.e. Assignment 1). This assignment include three parts: database searching, source reflection, and research reflection. As you complete part 1, carefully review the sources you found and select 5 sources to complete part 2.

Part 1

Database Searching

Perform at least 6 searches and fill in the information on the chart for each search that you complete. You MUST use library databases discussed in class; however, you may experiment with other databases that are relevant. It is expected that you will have several listings for each database search set because you are trying different search terms, Boolean operators, etc. in combination as search strings. You should also experiment with limiters as noted.
