This sample tasks analysis questionnaire will be used to determine which tasks will be the focus of the training program.

You are conducting the needs assessment and therefore you must decide the level of rating (weighting) of different tasks across organization that will determine if that a task should be included in the training program and why it is important.

TRAINING TOPIC Please rate each of the task statements according to three factors: 1) The importance of the task for effective performance, 2) How frequently the task is performed, and 3) The degree of difficulty required to become effective in the task. Use the following scales in making ratings Importance: Ou Task is not performed, 1-Task is of no importance for effective performance, 2- Task is important but not critical for effective performance, 3.Task is critical for effective performance Frequency: COM Otask is not performed 1-Task is performed once or twice a year 2-Task is performed once every few months, 3=Task is performed once a week, 4- Task is performed once a day. Difficulty: O- This task is not performed 1- Effective performance of the task does not require specific prior training and/or experience 2-Effective performance of the task requires a brief period of prior training and experience (1 - 6 months), 3= Effective performance of the task requires minimal prior experience and training (6-12 months), 4- Effective performance of the task requires extensive prior experience and/or training (12-18 months)
