This should be a fun assignment. Visit an international food store (in Cape Girardeau try Pacific Rim on Independence St.). If you are in St Louis, there are a number of stores you could visit - Global Market in Kirkwood, International food store on South Grand, Asian Markets on Olive St., etc.). If you are currently in another location, I am sure you can find an international food store.

Look at the merchandise. Buy something you have never bought before. Food or drink. (1) What were you thinking about when you were choosing the food or drink you selected? (2) What did you think of the food or drink you purchased and tried? (3) Do you think there is a broader U.S. market for the product? Why?
