Playing the role of CTO at a company in the midst of a cyber attack, you will practice ascertaining priorities and making sound decisions that reinforce data preservation. You and your team will navigate the complexities of making meaning in a crisis and communicating in a fast-paced environment, while learning the importance of crisis preparedness. In the first part of the simulation, you will confront a surge of information, conflicting opinions, and an evolving series of events that you must diagnose, react to, and recover from. In the second part of the simulation, you will be tasked with writing a public statement about the attack, and in the Discussion board you will subsequently review your peers' statements.
