This was what I wrote for my collage which I will attach this this question:

For the first assignment in this class, I wanted to make sure I got started off on the right foot for this course. I was very excited to learn we were making a collage with pictures that would show off what we took away from the unit we studied this week. I was excited, because I have been able to practice this a lot with my internships I have been doing for the past couple of summers. For my pictures I wanted to make sure that I wasnt stealing so I decided to use pexel.com, because this website only shows pictures that you are allowed to use with no copyright infringements. For my first picture I wanted to find a picture that would show off the micro side of what we learned, or how people communicate within organizations. So, I got a picture of a group of people talking in an office setting in the bottom right of the collage. The next picture I choose I wanted to show off meso, or how organizations communicate to individuals. The picture is in the top right of the collage showing the two people communicating in an individual setting. For the third picture I wanted to show off Macro, or how organizations communicate to other organizations. So, I chose a picture of a women talking over a skype or zoom call, because this is the most efficient way for organizations to communicate. This picture is in the bottom middle area of the collage. My fourth picture was meant to represent CCO, or communication as organizing or organizations. For this picture I used the picture of the two people at the construction site signifying that the lead organizer was showing off the plans to the builder. This picture is in the far-left area of the collage. The final picture I choose I wanted to signify what communication looks like in the modern world with all the technology we have today. It is a picture of people surrounding an office table with their own technology devices Infront of them having a conversation of what they are working on. This final picture is in the top middle part of the collage.

How are you currently practicing these skills? If you are not currently practicing them, how do you plan to develop those skills?

• With your new knowledge, what changes would you make to your collage? Is there anything missing you would add? How has your perspective of certain identities and their experiences changed? Are there any pictures you would remove?
