This week, you will create section 3 of the training. You will begin by providing a brief overview of the concept of total quality management and continuous quality improvement. You will then provide a visual and written description of each of the three common models used: FOCUS-PDCA, Rapid Cycle Improvement, and Six Sigma. Beneath each explanation, you will discuss under what circumstances the staff may be expected to apply a particular tool and how to do so effectively, thus resulting in reduced chance of risk to the patients, staff, and organization.
