This week you will do a personal analysis of yourself using the same concepts from a business practice called a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses,image.png opportunities, and threats) analysis. Strengths and weaknesses are defined as internal factors that you can overcome, and opportunities and threats are determined as external forces, things out of your control but that affect you. To make your own SWOT, you will need to do an analysis to evaluate the present OR future of your individual career goals. When conducting a SWOT analysis, consider what your goal should be. Do you want a new skill set, a new position, or a career change? You can even review your posts from Week 3 to recall what goals you have discussed. Keep that in mind as you develop your SWOT. The purpose of a SWOT is to give you an inventory of your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the goal you want to achieve.
