This week your homework assignment will focus on the reporting of epidemiology in the video news and popular press (articles written for the general public, not professional audiences). Find a news article or news video which describes an epidemiologic study. Find an article (or video) about a specific study, not a general health topic, or an opinion piece. Do not use a study in a scientific (peer-reviewed) journal. You can use online newspapers, video news (e.g., CNN, or magazines (e.g, National Geographic, Time, parenting magazines or fitness magazines). The article must be recent (within the past 12 months) and about a study of humans (e.g., animal or plant studies are not acceptable for this assignment). Create a Powerpoint presentation (you do not need audio) about the article. This must be in your own words. Your presentation should be 3-5 slides and must include the following information.
