This week's assignment is to choose an app, software or other online service that you use regularly. Once you pick your app or software, locate and carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy agreements. Read specifically looking for language that identifies how they will (or won't) use your personal information and data, who they will share it with and other aspects of digital data sharing.

• Post a short summary of what you found, including directly quoting the language that you find in both the terms of service and the privacy agreement.
• Based on what you read, do you feel that your data is safe when you use this app?
• How do you think that your data might be used by the app manufacturer and/or by third party companies?
• If you were advising a friend, coworker or employee about using this app, what might be some suggestions that you would give to them to help ensure that their data stays secure.
• Lastly, do you think that the app/software manufacturer is being transparent and clear with their language around privacy and how they will be using your data? Do you feel that you have a clear understanding of when, how and who will have access to your data? Why or why not?

Your write up should be at least 350 words - please take some time to thoroughly read both the app/software "privacy policy" AND "terms of service" - both can give you good insights into the full scope of how your data is collected and used.
