Thread $3.$ This last thread takes up Artificial Intelligence, and acutely relevant topic at the moment. The Washington Post article, A curious person's guide to artificial intelligence, provides a succinct explication of what A$.$I. is and how it works, including a discussion of Chat$-$boxes. The New York Times article, What's the Future for A$.$I.?, briefly looks at it's short and long$-$term applications, and the Washington Post article, $/$ did not use artificial intelligence to write this column, provides humorous insights into how A$.$I can go drastically wrong. Since, as your professor, I have to put limits on the use of A$.$I in your classes, I thought this would be a great introduction to the subject, from an academic perspective. What i want you to do is explain why you believe I would want to limit it's uses, and what types of limits i might apply.
