To prepare for this discussion post, select an Enterprise Modernization Case Study. Review the assignment: Proposal for Enterprise Modernization and identify the case you propose to use for your proposal. Choose a real case of the modernization of a significant legacy system that: is underway in an organization at the present time, has been completed within the past 10 years, or is one that you recognize is needed. If you do not have a good case from your own organization or experience, you may select and download one of the case studies of Modernizations Supported by Deloitte(Links to an external site.). Whatever your choice, the organization should have at least 50 employees and at least $20 million in annual revenue. The modernization must have broad organizational impact on at least 3 non-IT functional units. It is best if you choose a case involving an organization with which you are familiar - consider what the assignment calls for as you consider what case to select.

Your posting of 400-500 words must include:

1. Explain briefly how your selected organization and case meet the criteria above, and describe the legacy system.
2. Develop a problem/case statement. Create one succinct sentence that states the problem and a solution; it should be worded so that the organization will support it.
