Topic 6 Homework CentOS 6.6 (Template 2) For the first part of this homework assignment, boot the new instance that you just created for the lab. I'd like you to edit the /etc/inittab file (as I showed in the podcast and in the lab instructions) to change your run level to 3. Reboot your instance. Once you've logged in without a GUI, type the command 'cat /etc/inittab'. In your host OS, take a screen shot of the output that shows that your instance is set to boot to level 3 by default. Upload your screen shot to Moodle. When you've finished uploading, you may shutdown and delete your CentOS 6.6 instance. CentOS 7 (Template 1) For this part of the assignment, boot your CentOS 7 instance. Using the instructions that I gave you in the podcast, set your target boot environment to multi-user target. Reboot your system to the command line and login. Run the systemctl get-default so that it shows that you are using the multi-user target (you must do this from the command line, not a GUI). Take a screen shot that shows your target and upload it to Moodle. Change your target to graphical target. Reboot your instance and login. Take a screen shot of the output of the get-default command again that shows the default is now graphical and the GUI is running. Upload your screen shot to Moodle
