Request for Proposal

Project Management Training (PMT) is a project consulting and training company that aims to provide customised training services to local project management practitioners. In order to develop market awareness of our capabilities and business training needs, PMT is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to develop some promotional materials demonstrating a project management topic (from our selection).

To achieve our objectives we are seeking contractors to:

1. Research an agreed project management topic and prepare promotional material that clearly communicates to prospective clients PMTs excellent understanding of the topic.
2. Based on the topic research and information related to PMT, produce 20 power point slides suitable for a promotional presentation.You need to include the tasks for the power point presentation in the proposal, but you only need to deliver 10 draft slides in the project proposal. These 10 slides should focus on the topic of your choice not on promoting PMT.
3. Based on the topic research and information related to PMT produce a brochure (one page of A4 folded) and A4 size poster that advertises to prospective clients PMTs intended training services.You need to include the tasks for the brochure and poster in the proposal but you dont neet to develop the poster and the brochure.

The contents of this Request for Proposal are available for general public observation.

1. Statement of Work

The contractor will perform the following tasks:

Task 1: Obtain approval of project management topic selection from PMT; research agreed topic; identify relevant material and build a reference list. Prepare 20 power point slides. Contents of the slides should cover brief information about PMT, training objectives, and the topic researched. Make sure the slides are informative, attractive and easy to understand. There shouldnt be more than 5 lines per page and one line shouldnt have more than 10 words. You are allowed to use maximum two graphics per page. Please provide references at the end of the slides. The reference page is excluded from the number of slides requested.
